The Kaleidoscope Projectis designed to provide programs uniquely designed for the African American community. We recognize and value the diversity within the African American community and seek to provide services that respond to those diversities. Our premise is to look at healthy living, not just from a physical standpoint, but from a psychological, spiritual, educational and community participation standpoint. The TOTAL healthy living perspective ensures that we live our lives; healthily, from every aspect.
The Kaleidoscope Project has launched programs that address key areas like…
Increasing levels of volunteerism within the African American community
Leadership enhancement and development within the African American community
Programs addressing tobacco impact, education, and cessation solutions specifically developed for the African American community
Founder and Director, Nita Mosby Henry shares “I am most excited about developing an organization that customizes needed programs to the distinct way in which they should be delivered within the African American community. The way in which we have looked at ‘healthy living’ in the past has sometimes fallen short of addressing areas like increasing our education and leadership, giving back to the community in substantive ways, and working in teams to become more physically and mentally healthy. The Kaleidoscope Project is my dream come true. I am excited about broadening our sense and definition of what healthy living really is and am honored that I am able to provide valuable services and initiatives here in Colorado.”
